Washer pipes have been replaced, and will take weeks to all dry out completely. Problem I still have is that the MMI 2 G is still not working. I have the Bose option, DVD Nav, BT phone module. Initially completely dead, but now the Audi MMI system screen comes up for a few seconds and then goes black again.

Two simple things to check depending on how long you've owned it, try holding down the power/volume **** a little longer and second the button over the glove compartment release turns off the display, it may have gotten pressed by accident.
If you have vagcom, you can diagnose the problem. If you have sound, the problem can be the screen. If you dont have sound, the problem can be Gateway. If you dont give a code your new battery, it work but it is advisable code so that sistem knows that it has a new battety and what battery.
